SP Services Login Guide: 3 Steps to Setting up Your Utilities in Singapore

Want to set up utilities in your home? Login to SP Services. Whether it’s for a new home or rental unit, setting up your utilities is one of the first steps to take when moving in. While setting up your Singapore Power Services (SP Services) account may seem complicated and tedious, it really isn’t. In fact, it’ll only take you a few minutes to fill up the online form, and one to three days to process your application.

Your SP Utilities account tracks all three basic utilities (water, electricity and gas), so you won’t need to apply separately with Public Utilities Board (PUB) Singapore or City Gas. If, after setting up your SP Utilities account, you want to switch to a private electricity retailer, you will, however, have to sign up again separately.

This article will go through a handy step-by-step guide to get you started and log in to SP Services online.

How To Set Up and Apply for SP Services Online

Opening an SP Services account online is the easiest way to do it, but you can also head to either one of the customer service centres (see below) if you prefer to walk in.

But first, make sure you prepare the following documents:

  • Proof of occupancy of your home, such as a Tenancy Agreement/ property tax slip
  • A copy of your IC or FIN (both front and back)
