ERA announces expansion in Laos, tech advancement plans

ERA Realty Network has announced on 21 March its expansion in Asia Pacific, entering the Laos market. According to the agency, it now boasts 22,000 agents across more than 640 offices in 11 countries. In Singapore, the agency has seen a net increase of 277 real estate salespersons in Q1 2023.

The announcement was made during its annual Asia Pacific Business Conference on 21 March, which celebrated the salesforce’s remarkable accomplishments of the previous year. In attendance as guest-of-honour was Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development.

Marcus Chu, CEO of APAC Realty and ERA Asia Pacific, had also announced plans for the year, which included renewal support and tech capabilities for its salespersons. For instance, it has pledged to invest S$5.2 million to scale up tech capabilities.
