A total of 40 awards were presented this year, including special awards for recognition in the fields of Sustainable Construction, Sustainable Design, and Building Communities.
The first virtual gala edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore) was broadcasted live on asiapropertyawards.com and partner channels, including YouTube and Facebook.
A total of 40 awards were presented this year, including special awards for recognition in the fields of Sustainable Construction, Sustainable Design, and Building Communities.
Local developer, GuocoLand, emerged victorious with 11 awards, which included Best Developer – the highest award of the night.
GuocoLand’s ultra-luxe residential project, Wallich Residence, was also recognised for Best Condo Development (Singapore) and Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development (Completed), while the developer’s Group Managing Director, Cheng Hsing Yao also accepted the Real Estate Personality of the year award, the only award not chosen by the independent judging panel.
Meanwhile, UOL Group Limited, last year’s Best Developer, cliched several awards for Avenue South Residence and Clavon.
Elsewhere, Aurum Land (Private) Limited won Best Boutique Developer, as well as Best Boutique Condo Development and Best Boutique Condo Architectural Design for Nyon and The Hyde respectively.
Forett at Bukit Timah by Qingjian Perennial (Bukit Timah) Pte Ltd, garnered the titles of Best Private Condo Development and Best Private Condo Landscape Architectural Design. Qingjian Realty (Marymount) Pte Ltd also won the new award of Best Sales Gallery Architectural Design for JadeScape.
Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited won one of the highest accolades of the night, Best Housing Development (Singapore), for its Luxus Hills Contemporary Collection project.
This year’s gala event also introduced several new awards, namely Best Landed Developer (Bukit Sembawang Estates limited), Best Mixed Use Developer (GuocoLand), Best Breakthrough Developer (Macly Group), Best Industrial Developer (Soildbuild Group Holdings), Best Residential Developer (Qinjian Realty (South Pacific) Group Pte Ltd, and Best Lifestyle Developer (Wing Tai Asia).

Winners of the 10th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore) were chosen by an independent panel of judges, lead by Wenhui Lim, Partner at SPARK Architects, who is the awards chairperson this year. She is joined by Benedict Andrew Lim, Principal Independent Advisor, Independent Advisory and Carolina Fagnani, Senior Director, Development, South East Asia and Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group.
Completing the list of judges are Chua Shang Chai, Partner, Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP; Henry Woon, Director, Atelier Ten; Greg Shand, Architect, Robert Greg Shand Architects; Kristin Thorsteins, Partner, Portman Investment and Joelle Chen, Programme Director, Beca.
