For those who enjoy combining a workout with their commute, the tower facilitates cyclists with 130 bicycle parking lots and associated lockers, changing rooms and showers. The theme of healthy living and sustainability runs throughout the project. The 235-metre building was in fact recently awarded the green mark platinum by Singapore Building and Construction Authority for the widespread implementation of environmentally sustainable practices. These include retaining the same area of green space as the original site, recycling rainwater to irrigate the building’s flora and introduction of three-metre floor-to-ceiling double-glazed glass windows that maximise the natural light and reduce energy usage.
