Depending on their flat type, eligible households will receive 1.5 to 3.5 months of S&CC rebates during this financial year.

About 950,000 Singaporean households living in Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats will receive $135 million worth of Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates from next month to March next year.

The rebates are part of the $900 million Household Support Package unveiled at this year’s Budget to provide additional support to families during this period of uncertainty, said the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in a release on 26 March.

The Household Support Package helps families with their household expenses, with those earning lower- to middle-income receiving more.

Depending on their flat type, eligible households will receive 1.5 to 3.5 months of S&CC rebates during this financial year.

Households will be notified via letters by 1 April. They will automatically receive their S&CC rebate in April, July and October as well as January next year.

The rebates will be “credited directly into households’ S&CC accounts managed by their respective Town Councils”.

“Households do not need to take any action to benefit from the S&CC rebate,” said MOF.

It added that residents with queries relating to eligibility for the rebates can submit their queries at My HDBPage at www.hdb.gov.sg using their Singpass.

“Residents with specific queries on their household’s S&CC payment or account status can contact their respective Town Councils,” said MOF.
