Project Focus: Martin Modern by GuocoLand Singapore

(This is a special feature by GuocoLand).

Few luxury condominium launches in District 9 have garnered as much fanfare in recent years as Martin Modern. The 99-year leasehold development, which sits strategically in Robertson Quay in what is arguably Singapore’s most prestigious district, will upon completion in 2022 feature 450 units ranging in size from 764 to 1,798 square feet.

The mix of two-, two-plus-study-, three- and four-bedroom apartments cater to professional couples, small families and multi-generational households alike. Offering the added bonus of being surrounded by botanic gardens and diverse lifestyle options at Robertson Quay, Martin Modern is proving popular with investors looking to blend city living with upscale amenities and green space.

Indeed, the 171,533-square-foot development includes 15 individual landscaped gardens with more than 200 species of plants, providing each of the spacious and functional units with bucolic views in the heart of the urban surroundings. Designed by four-time President’s Design Award-winning architect Yip Yuen Hong of ipli Architects, Martin Modern dedicates 80 percent of its land area to the unique botanical landscapes. The garden forms a natural park that embraces the two-towered development and gives residents optimal outdoor space for exercise and leisurely pursuits away from the crowds.

“Spacious river view apartments set in botanical gardens, translating the luxurious living spaces of Good Class Bungalows; Martin Modern by GuocoLand Singapore is thoughtfully designed to offer the best river, city, and green views, with a timeless style crowned by architecturally bold rooftop designs revealing secret gardens,” the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore) judging panel noted. “The distinctive façade design with innovative material echoes the warehouse heritage of the site.”

In addition to its prime location and timeless architecture, the project features an array of premium facilities. These include a tennis court, lounge club, pool deck, 50-metre lap pool, communal pavilions, gymnasium and fitness court, as well as exclusive nature-themed attractions such as the Bio Pond, Forest Play Maze, Forest Trail and Roof Garden.
