You may want to check your eligibility beforehand: - https://www.99.co/singapore/insider/buying-bto-process-procedures/ - https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/buying-a-flat/flat-and-grant-eligibility/couples-and-families One key thing to note is that you must not: 1) own any other property 2) sold a private property within 30 months before you apply for BTO.

Comment on May 2022 HDB BTO overview: Bukit Merah, Queenstown, Toa Payoh, Yishun and Jurong West by Virginia Tanggono

If you like nature, we'd suggest going for Jurong since it's right next to Jurong Lake Gardens. Some buyers are more superstitious, so yes there's a possibility that homes near hospitals (like this Yishun BTO) may fetch a lower price. But in general there are other factors at play, such as the other amenities nearby and the flat condition. For instance, the first million-dollar flat in Yishun is located right across the street from the hospital (https://www.99.co/singapore/insider/yishun-flat-sold-1-million-february-2022/). At the same time, we'd like to highlight that this is a rare case and is more likely due to it being a jumbo flat. There's also some rental opportunity for the Yishun BTO; for instance you can consider renting it out to healthcare workers working nearby.
