Comment on Split identities of the 9 Spottiswoode Park HDB flats: Same, same but different by SingaporeInvestor

In reply to Passerby. I feel I need to disagree respectfully. For Enbloc, the owner of the land that the apartments would need to sell to developers. There are no private apartment freehold owners, there are only apartment leaseholders. So Who is the owner of the land that the blocks stand on? HDB, PSA, URA?

Comment on November 2022 HDB BTO review – Bukit Batok by Jimmy

If the forest patch next to Bukit Batok hillside nature park (which is part of Bukit Batok nature corridor) is cleared for BTO housing development, it will further disrupt ecological connectivity and affect safe movements of wildlife. It is hoped that there will be no further deforestation along Bukit Batok nature corridor and in Tengah forest, so as to maintain ecological connectivity, climate resilience and a liveable environment for humans and wildlife between Western water catchment and Central catchment nature reserve, and focus on redeveloping brownfield sites elsewhere. https://natureandus.wordpress.com/2022/11/11/loss-of-ecological-connectivity-along-bukit-batok-nature-corridor-is-a-serious-concern-in-view-of-singapores-commitment-to-sustainable-development/
